Podcasts from ELS Churches
Up one levelThese are links that provide podcast feeds. Each feed is a list of items. With a newsfeed (RSS) reader, you can receive periodic updates of the contents of each feed. Podcast feeds have the additional feature that each item has multimedia content, usually audio recordings. With podcasting software on your computer, you can receive these media recordings automatically, when they are made available. Churches wishing to list their podcasts here will find instructions by logging in and searching for "podcasting".

- Faith Carthage usually posts two files per week, one with the readings and any choir or congregational gradual hymns or anthems; and one file with the weekly sermon. During Lent we also post Lenten sermons. On special festivals we sometimes post an entire service, especially when it contains a lot of special music.

- The Speex encoding is optimized for speech, so it produces superior quality at very high data compression (which means the files are small). If your software or device can play Speex, this is preferable to the MP3 Podcast.
